2012 has come and we are running Golfschool Kleiburg, a PGA Holland Accredited Golfacademy (no6 in The Netherlands). I will have to be selective in tournaments I might be able to play. As soon as I am going play again, I will post it on this site!
During 2011 we, mywife and I, have had the opportunity to start a golfacademy at Golfclub Kleiburg, the Netherlands. I will still practice all I can to be ready for that one moment when my playing career continues. Professional play is suspended not ended.
2011 season has been finished. Sponsorships made it possible for me to compete in tournaments. Thank you so much for everyone who supported me!
2010 was the first year that I played full time golf on the EPDTour. With a shared
1st place at the end of the season and an order of merit ranking in the top-
To be able to have a successful career on the tour in the nearby future, I need continuity and financial security over longer period of time. I will need the financial ability to support my training's, coach and all other things one needs to perform on the highest level in golf. I will need more sponsors to further my playingcareer! Missed it.. Did not qualify... A shame, played good golf hit great shots, missed perhaps 3 fairways and 3 greens in 2 days, but didnt make enough putts.. This is not over yet.

It is my brother’s birthday! Gratz! Took a couple of days off , we closed the academy for a week to spend time at home, sorting out administration, play and relax with my family, Isabelle is doing great, ten months already... Hope to get some good practice aswell this week :) 16 days to go..

Played a qualifier for the PGA’s Of Europe, teaching professional championship. First
3 spots would go, I finished in fourth place.. Played very nice and solid golf, didnt
know the course very well so had to rely on my yardagebook. Prooved to be a bit dificult
with all the dog-

Like you will all know by now.. Not playing a lot of tournaments at the moment, still training tho’ ,you never know when you can go out and accomplish amazing stuff!!!

Played another one day event @ Golfclub Heelsumse Veld. Finisched 7th, shot 73. Nice round of golf, nothing special, made one mistake and a few to little putts. Swing feels good and solide. Looking forward to my next round :)

Just came home from Scotland, payed a visit to Turnberry of course and played fantastic golfcourses like Dundonald Links, Loch Lomonds little sister. Weather was great, a bit cold but hardly any serious wind or serious rough, pretty unusual in links golf :) The courses seem so easy in those perfect conditions... Haha.

Went to Amsterdam today, Golf Show 2011 in the RAI. It was nice to see so many people I know, since I havent seen most of them for a while, including students, friends, colleagues, suppliers and distributers. To stay on top of all the aspects of the game I will go to the annual three day PGA Holland teaching golfprofessional conference starting this coming Monday.

I made a decision for this years tournament schedule, I am not going back to Marocco for the last part of the winterseries and will completely focus on the European based eleven tournaments. Eleven tournaments will be enough to make it! Extra in the schedule are some other Dutch tournaments and some qualifyers.

Due to private circumstances I have to withdrawal from this current tournament and I am flying back home tomorrow, because the next tournament (here in Marocco) starts in three days I wont be able to play in the Amelkis Classic 2011 either.

77 today, perfect weather to score well, created many opportunities but did not take advantage of them, a couple of mistakes made the score..

Except a cold and some riots in the city, I am feeling great. The last three days were consumed by practice and playing. I am hitting the ball superb, cant wait to go out tomorrow! 08.20 tee 1 :), nice early tee off time.. the weather forcast predicts temperatures around 30 celsius in the afternoon.

74, mc, better golf, only one mistake today on the par 3 17th, found a waterhazard from the tee and had to play the next shot from the same spot.. Made a six there. The rest of the round was good, many good shots, found 16 greens and made some putts. Today I am going to the next venue to prepare for the next tournament in four days.

82 today... Unbelievable..., missed some greens with good shots on the wrong sides, couldnt get it up and down, missed some more short putts and a high score is made. Was on the practice green forever after my round.. Have got to show magic tomorrow!
I am better then this... come on!

Second practice day here in Morocco is finished. I spend 12 hours on the golfcourse so it was a good day at work :). Played a practice round with Reinier Saxton and Wouter de Vries, good players, good fun! Grabbed a bite, went to the range and back into the course. I was hitting the shots the way I want to hit them, certainly the second part of the day. Tomorrow is the pro am, I am not playing in it, so.. more practice and some waiting untill the course is free for play.

Felt good this morning, had breakfast, made some practice putts and chips, went to the range for a warm up, hitting good shots, I was looking forward to a nice round of golf...
First drive into the wind on the tenth split fairway, perfect, took 2 clubs more on the second shot to make sure that I would get atleast to the centre of the green... Pitched a yard short, bounced back into the waterhazard... Skinny pitch, three putt... OK! That went fast... It was a struggle from there. I have put to much pressure on every shot thinking I needed to make up for that first hole. The strong wind and ‘getting bad’ greens did not help but were definitly no excuse.
I have got to drasticly change my thoughts while I am playing otherwise this is going to be very difficult!!

Got up early (06.15) this morning, as usual, for my practice round. Wouter de Vries joined me after a couple of holes, good fun, good player. After the round I talked to my wife/ coach, on skype. Early in the morning she definitely sounds more like a coach then a loving sweet wife :). We discussed some of my shots and she told me some points for me to check, while being on the range...
WooHaa!!!! I found my inner ‘JOJO’ again... Awesome! Superb shots! I just could not
stop hitting balls!! Think I hit 2 million range-

70 today, a lot better golf, missed some holeable putts but I am pleased that I felt
more in control of my game. No final day, dissappointing, but atleast more time to
get myself together for the last tournament here in Belek, Turkey. In the middle
of my round I had a pleasant surprise, my brother in law had walked onto the course
to see me play some holes before he had to be at the airport. Good fun, appreciated
that lots. Back to the range and practice-

Looked great this morning, no wind just a tad cold, perfect weather to score well.
I did not do that, it was just off with to many shots. The risky shots were fine
but I missed to many easy shots. After 8 holes it started to rain and it never stopped.
Quite hard actually, it became freezing cold, meanwhile I thanked the golfinggods
for no wind. The rain helped me a bit to regain focus and to be more commited to
the shots. With my 76 today I am way off the lead.. even way off the cut-

Just finished with my second practice day here at Sueno golf. Played tomorrows course twice, I like it. Firm slicky greens, humpy bumpy fairways... The weather was great today, a lot of sun and a playable wind. Tomorrow should be fine too. In my game plan is quite some risk involved, so wish me luck and all the best decisions :)!! Tee off time is 10.20 am, tee 10.

Rain, wind and thunder in the background.. knowing I had to make a birdie I made two bad decisions and found a bunker twice... Result = Mc. Need to forget this fast and prepare for the next tournament. I am on may way now to another hotel to practice on and off the greens of the next venue, Sueno Golf.

What a mess today... Still need to play 3 holes , play will resume at 8am tomorrow.
Started of fine, played well, then made a couple of misjudgements in a rainstorm...
Lost some shots, regrouped after that went on creating oppertunities and took advantage
of them. Play interrupted by thunder and lightning, fine no problems with that, but
it took ages... And ages... Then we were rushed out to play some hole before it became
pitchdark... Great, found water once and three-

Played my first practice round of the season today. Started early in the morning,
in the rain, but the weather improved fast. Felt a bit rusty after the winterbreak,

I live in a small village with a golfcourse (of course !!), Golfclub Oude Maas. Ian Goor, a colleague PGA Golfprofessional, is realizing his dream there. He built this fantastic high tech golfstudio specialized in 3d golfbiodynamics. It is amazing how much you can find out about your golfswing. First you get sensors attached to your body, everything gets calibrated and then there is nothing to hide. What surprised me to most is the value of the system not only for analyzing but especially for helping the player make the movements that he/she really wants to make. His golfstudio is not only for golfprofessionals but for everyone who wants to get better in the game. I went with my coach Vhari, that is the best part.. You can have lessons from your own coach while using Ian’s expertise! It was a good learningexperience and one that certainly will benifit me this next season! It sure looks great, but I am glad that the snow is going to disappear.. I wanted to practice like usual, but I was forced to take a week off! Almost 20 inches of snow covered the golfcourse where we have spend our holidays!

New year, new website! Life is all about making the right choices and doing what feels good. Last year I learned that you have got to be truthfull to yourself. 2011 is going to be a great year!
On it I used the Ailsa Tartan and an aerial photo from one of the world’s most famous spots in golf, the Back Tee of the nineth hole ‘Bruce’s Castle’ ( where I proposed to my wife) on the Ailsa Golf Course, Turnberry, Scotland.
